Bobigny is a midium size town located in the northeastern suburbs of the agglommeration of Paris. It is about 9 km from the Paris city centre. The town is one of the 12 largest communies in Saint-Denis. It may seem funny but the people inhabiting the town od Bobigny are called Balbynies! In general, the name of the town was made up by Romans who used to live in the ara many ages ago. They called the place „the place of Balbo or Balbinius” as well as „the place of the dumb and silent men”. The town of Bobigny is not as well developed as Paris. Staying there without your own vehicle may be very hard. It’s really hard to catch a public bus or even a taxi. So, if you’re gonna spend in the Paris suburbs more then a few hours, you better think of it before set up. You can rent a car but you can book with Paris Port Direct as well.
